WHAT IS A (CLNC®)?

The CLNC is a Registered Nurse with specialized knowledge and training. Aim to promote excellence in the authoritative standards of care, practices, and principles of the medical and nursing fields. The CLNC reviews, researches, summarizes and interprets the medical records, documents and policies. Enabling the CLNC to render objective facts and opinions about the specific medical, health, and injury related issues. The CLNC can also provide information to the attorneys, insurance companies, and non-medical professionals about the standards, policies/procedures and protocols along with the inner works of the hospitals and other health care systems and their operations. The CLNC will complement behind the scenes and consult with the attorney/client paralegal and insurance companies to educate and promote the excellence in the medical/nursing standards of care.

The Vickie Milazzo Institute taught me to rise to the challenges of the Medical-Legal issues. Crossing over with nursing and the law. To expand on education to the legal, medical and non-medical professions. Educating about the medical associations on the standards of care and it's various health care facilities. As part of the litigation team the CLNC offers services as: teacher, translator, liaison between attorney/client and all parties involved in the case.


QUALIFICATIONS

Currently practicing as a registered nurse over 19 years in an acute and skilled care nursing facility providing nursing skills as needed. My nursing experience comes from a broad range of hospitals that expanded while traveling from the east coast to the mid west states. To include medical chart reviews, expanding in medical/surgical, ICU, telemetry, injuries and nursing homes, combining the nurse practice acts in multi states. Provide excellence in nursing, known as nursing standards of care, including the recommendations to the legal and/or medical professionals. To assist in review, organize, analyze and summarize the medical records.

EXPERIENCE

Actively working board certified over 19 years as a registered nurse with certified clinical background as staff nursing in: Med/Surg. Cardiology, Telemetry, Geriatrics, Long Term Care, Orthopedics, Home Health and Nursing Homes, including positions as Nurse Educator, Unit Manager, House Supervisor, Chart Reviews, Utilization Review, Evaluation of Quality Assurance and updates on policies and procedures.
